How We Did It

We prioritized Arabic messaging in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. When the universities Dubai campus opened, we ran two campaigns. One brand-building campaign to highlight the university’s potential. One lead generation. ADU’s ad accounts had built up audience data over a number of years. So retargeting ads played a big role in putting the brand in front of people who previously engaged with them.

We started with the basics. Customized landing pages for each targeted audience. People who saw ADU’s ads would not be directed to a generic landing page. This gave readers the feel of a personalized experience. For example, messaging focused on faculty and courses.

We used high-quality videos to capture audience attention on social media. And experimented with the latest ad formats to bring in previously untapped web traffic.

We also number of advanced techniques like cross-platform retargeting, audience nurturing content on social media, and CRM targeting. The idea was to position ADU as a thought leader in the minds of prospective students and their parents.
